Someone please remind me not to read creationist tripe before I go to bed. It just makes me furious, and absolutely dejected that someone believing that nonsense has any power at all. I swear. Politicians need a god damn competency exam. I bet they think cladistics is a nasty medical procedure.

ARGH. I was so much happier when I didn't know what any of these fools were doing with their damn policies and how their damn beliefs affected it. Freaking democrats throw cash at a problem and close their eyes, and the bloody republicans point to a bible verse and preach.

Honestly, I think the country would be much better off if the entire goverment read the god damn Wikipedia article on whatever they were legislating before each vote/signature/veto. Flaws and all! Maybe that would have at least made them not pull out of ITER for the second time.

you think *youre* mad at the politicians?

i hate capitalist liberal democracy. worst form of government and economics. but since every other alternative in human history is far worse, i suppose we have to tolerate the politicians and beware of the ron paul people and other extremists who prey on the ignorant and apathetic.

but we dont have to help them. no more BCR and Patriot for us!

but yeah. we have to get used to 1) other people's ideas no matter how wrong and stupid, and 2) politicians. welcome to the world my friend. we cant go around deciding what ideas, like religion, are "right" and "wrong" for obvious reasons. stupid world!

At this point, I only look at creationist crap when I actually WANT to be angry about something abstract, to have some physical group to point a finger at and say "That! That makes me mad!"...then I vent and yell and commiserate with you or Rachael.
